Incase Slider Case for iphone 5 Brief review

Perennial Apple Store favorite Incase is offering three styles of its popular Slider Case and another option for your iPhone 5. All the iphone 5 cases can be ordered through the company’s site with shipping in early October.
Slider: The two-piece hardshell Incase Slider Case for iphone 5 provides complete coverage of the iPhone while allowing access to all buttons and ports. The removable bottom slips off to allow for easy docking and charging. Incase is offering the Slider, Crystal Slider, and Metallic Slider all for $34.95. While the Slider is only available in black, you can find it on case2case with only $26.99 now.
I've been a supporter of Incase case products for quite some time now. I used to run both the Slider and Snap Case for my iPhone 4. Incase cases are definitely more expensive than your standard case, however, it is worth the minimalist design, great fit and finish, and great customer service.

Design: Like previous Slider case, this Incase Slider Case for iphone 5 does not take away from the look of the iPhone. Very minimal. Does offer a lip around the edge in case you want to lay the phone on the screen, it will not touch the surface below. Although there is no top or bottom coverage, there is enough of a lip that if the phone were to stand vertically, the top or bottom does not touch the surface below. This design ensures there will be no problem connecting devices such as 30-pin adapters (I have tried) or headphones. The camera cutout in the rear is large enough that it will not affect the camera flash like the first gen of cases for the iPhone 4 did.
Fit & Finish: Definitely top quality here. Incase Slider Case for iphone 5 fits nice and tight. Case material seems a bit stiffer than Slip cases for the iPhone 4/4S which is a good thing because those had a tendency to weaken and crack on the corners over time. This case has a nice soft rubber feel, just like it did for the 4/4S. The inside of the case is smooth. I have taken the case on and off a few times and it has not scratched any portion of the phone.
